Marvel promises the biggest twist in Daredevil: Born Again season 2 won’t be undone

The much-discussed finale of Daredevil: Born Again season 2 revealed a major twist that will dramatically change the future of the show and the character Matt Murdock. Bringing this twist into the story required approval from the highest levels at Marvel. That included Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige and co-president Louis D’Esposito. Scardapane said there was some time between the writers’ pitch and the final approval, but stressed that Feige and D’Esposito’s strong storytelling is essential to the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
