After taking on the position, Diego discovers the city is burdened by heavy debt and corruption. The series’ main antagonist, Don Emmanuel, is played by Eric Elmosnino.
Diego is determined to restore order and secure vital access to water for the community, but he quickly realizes politics alone won’t be enough to fight corruption and growing unrest. After 20 years, he revives his long-abandoned alter ego and becomes the masked avenger Zorro, fighting for the people while trying to govern as mayor.
