During the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023 event, CD Projekt has unveiled some new functionalities of the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC. Key features of this DLC will also be available in the Cyberpunk 2077 base game from the 26th of September via update 2.0. The Phantom Liberty DLC brings new weapons like the Rasetsu sniper rifle and the Grit handgun, and the trailer also provides a sneak peak at updated cyberware, perks and the Relic skill tree. The gameplay video showcases vehicular combat, allowing players to shoot at enemy vehicles or disable them through a quickhack. The DLC also introduces a revamped policing system in the game, resulting in a more realistic response from police or NCPD to violations and barricades. The redesigned skill tree, the updated police system, and the vehicular combat are all to be included in the core game via the Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0. Both this update and the Phantom Liberty DLC will be available starting from the 26th of September on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. In addition to this, more details were revealed about Diablo 4 Season 2 during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023. Remedy Entertainment also showcased an Alan Wake 2 trailer featuring the Dark Place, and Bandai Namco announced the release date for Tekken 8.
