May 22, 2025 4:39 PM

The highly anticipated Space Marine Master Crafted Edition has been officially announced and is set to release on June 10 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Game Pass. Following the successful launch of Space Marine 2, this edition, developed by SEGA and Sneakybox, aims to provide a thoughtful restoration of the cult classic rather than a simple technical upgrade. Players can expect enhanced visuals with 4K resolution, improved controls, and new audio elements. Included in this version are all original modes, including the campaign and both PvE and PvP multiplayer options, along with newly updated models and over 100 new voice lines for the Ork faction. The game will be priced at €39.99 or available on Game Pass.

What new features can fans expect in the Space Marine Master Crafted Edition?

Fans can look forward to 4K resolution, improved controls, and enhanced audio features. The Ork faction has received a notable boost with new models and over 100 new voice lines, which adds depth to the game's overall experience while retaining the beloved original modes and campaign.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is a third-person action game set in the Warhammer 40K universe, initially released in 2011. The game has become a fan favorite due to its engaging combat and rich lore. With the resurgence of interest in Warhammer 40K, thanks to recent releases and adaptations, the Master Crafted Edition is expected to reignite enthusiasm and attract both new players and long-time fans eager to relive this classic title.

Oh man, 4K bolter porn and extra Ork chatter This remaster’s got me feeling like a giddy Tech-Priest uncovering a lost STC. SEGA’s really out here doing the Emperor’s work with this one. Between this and Space Marine 2, 2024 might just be the year my social life gets sacrificed to the Warhammer hype train—no regrets.

Nice to see a remaster that actually puts in the work instead of just slapping on a fresh coat of paint. The new Ork voice lines alone might be worth the revisit for that extra layer of 40K charm. Game Pass coming in clutch again—this feels like the perfect way to either dive back in or experience the classic for the first time with some modern polish.
