Insomniac Games suggests that upcoming players of Spider-Man 2 should download the day one-patch as quickly as possible. While the physical release of Spider-Man 2 could be played without patch 1.001.002, Insomniac advises players to download it before they begin the game's first mission. This update improves the golden master version of the game that's on the disc; it enhances the game's opening section and includes some general refinements for your experience, including additional accessibility options. If players download the digital version of the game, they'll automatically get the patch version.

Spider-Man 2 will be released this Friday on PlayStation 5. Both Peter Parker and Miles Morales play significant roles in the game, with players able to switch between the two heroes. Both Spider-Mans have new moves and players can explore not only Manhattan but also Queens and Brooklyn in the game.
