Final eight DLC tracks for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe revealed

Nov 01, 2023 4:24 PM

Nintendo has announced the final expansion set for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as part of the Booster Course Pass. This expansion model, spanning two years, aims to introduce six sets of tracks into the game. Each set consists of eight racecourses, mostly based on tracks from earlier Mario Kart editions or the mobile game, Mario Kart Tour. However, completely new courses are occasionally added.

The sixth and last set is scheduled to be released on 6th November. This package will include the following tracks: Rome Avanti (Mario Kart Tour), DK Mountain (GameCube), Daisy Circuit (Wii), Piranha Plant Cove (Tour), Madrid Drive (Tour), Rosalina’s Ice World (3DS), Bowser Castle 3 (SNES) and Rainbow Road (Wii). In addition to these tracks, characters Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Peachette and Pauline will be introduced.

Nintendo also plans to add sixteen extra Mii racing suits, including a bonus pack for Daisy which can be accessed by scanning the character's amiibo. From 9th November onwards, a music player will be incorporated into the game, allowing players to listen to different tracks from the game.
