Lapras ex Joins Pokémon TCG in Exclusive Battle Event

Nov 05, 2024 11:28 AM

The Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket has launched a limited-time Lapras ex event, allowing players to compete against increasingly difficult Lapras decks. This new addition introduces a Chance Rewards system, where players can earn booster packs containing exclusive cards including the coveted Lapras ex. Players will face off against four tough Lapras decks, with a special Promo Pack A Series Vol. 1 reward offering one of five collectible cards after each battle. The Lapras ex card boasts 140 HP and features the powerful Bubble Drain attack that heals itself, making it a strategic addition to players' decks. The game itself, having launched in October, has already proven successful, racking up $12 million in just four days since release, showcasing the continued popularity of Pokémon trading cards in a digital format.

How can I obtain Lapras ex in Pokémon TCG Pocket?

To obtain Lapras ex, players need to participate in the Lapras ex Drop Event by battling through four increasingly difficult Lapras decks. After defeating these decks, players are rewarded with a Promo Pack A Series Vol. 1 which may contain Lapras ex, along with other collectible cards. You'll have a one-in-five chance of pulling the Lapras ex card from the booster pack, so persistence in battling is key.

Pokémon TCG Pocket offers a streamlined digital experience of the classic trading card game, enabling players to manage decks and participate in battles conveniently. This new adaptation allows for faster gameplay and card collection, attracting both existing fans and newcomers to the Pokémon universe.
