Metroid fans have reason to celebrate as Nintendo has finally unveiled Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, slated for release on the Nintendo Switch in 2025. The recent Nintendo Direct revealed the game's title and gave a glimpse of the gameplay. True to its roots, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will feature first-person blasting action and the return of Samus Aran. The trailer hinted at a space war and showcased classic elements like the morph ball ability. Although there was a tease of a new alien planet, specific gameplay innovations remain under wraps.

Will Metroid Prime 4: Beyond be available on the current Nintendo Switch or will it require a new console?n

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will be available on the current Nintendo Switch, so there's no need to purchase a new console to enjoy the game.

The Metroid Prime series is renowned for its first-person action-adventure gameplay and atmospheric world design. The original Metroid Prime, released in 2002, was a significant departure from the 2D side-scrolling format, introducing players to immersive 3D environments while retaining the series' hallmark exploration and puzzle-solving elements. The last game in the series, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, was released in 2007, making the upcoming installment highly anticipated by fans.
