Possible New Assassin's Creed: Codename Red Artwork Found on LinkedIn

Oct 23, 2023 8:36 AM
New Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red artwork likely found on LinkedIn. This potential development is headed by one of the game's authors, Ubisoft employee Pierre Boudreau, whose LinkedIn profile curiously presents what might be the new artwork for Assassin's Creed: Codename Red. If genuine, this marks the first visual material for the game since the teaser trailer, portraying a character standing behind a Japanese castle.

Ubisoft unveiled the future of the Assassin's Creed franchise last year, including the freshly launched Assassin's Creed Mirage and the up-and-coming franchise 'hub' titled Assassin's Creed Infinity. Included in this new venture is Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red, along with Codename Hexe, the former being set in ancient Japan.

Earlier this year, alleged new information about Codename Red suggests the inclusion of two playable characters: a female samurai and an African refugee, with stealth being a critical gameplay element. However, the release timeline for Assassin's Creed Codename Red remains unknown.
