ARC Raiders: new update and Riven Tides roadmap

New content and bug fixes
The latest update follows the major Riven Tides update, which launched on 28 April 2026. That update was the fourth and final addition to ARC Raiders’ Escalation roadmap and introduced a new coastal-themed map as well as a new enemy, the Turbine. This large, cone-shaped robot does not attack unless disturbed, but players who get in its way will definitely feel the consequences.
The 5 May patch includes a range of bug fixes, most notably addressing an issue where the Turbine’s attacks were not visible at long range. Players can also now drop their carryables and defend themselves against Ticks if they are attacked while holding an item.
In addition, new cosmetic items have been added, including the Corsaro Set and the Mutton Chops facial hair bundle, priced at 1600 and 500 Raider Tokens respectively.
Riven Tides and the future
The Riven Tides update also made major balance changes that did not go down well with everyone. The community has started a petition to revisit the weapon durability changes, with common weapons now losing 75% of their durability per shot, while uncommon weapons lose 50%. After the update, Embark said it wants to keep refining the balance changes, but no details have been shared about a return to the old values.
