Diablo 4 celebrates its 3rd anniversary with free gifts

Blizzard has announced that it will celebrate Diablo 4's third anniversary with a series of festivities running from June 2 through June 9. The celebration marks the return of popular events like March of the Goblins and Mother's Blessing, and gives players the chance to claim free cosmetic gifts over five days.

Free cosmetic gifts

The festivities include a series of claimable cosmetic items that players can unlock by logging into the game. The first of these gifts, Blood Raven's Talon (a cosmetic one-handed sword), will be available starting June 1 at 12:00 PM PDT. From that date, a new gift will be added each day through June 6:

• Day 1: Blood Raven's Talon (One-handed sword)

• Day 2: King Kanai's Last Stand (Shield)

• Day 3: Nangari Wounder (Dagger)

• Day 4: Overlord's Odium (Two-handed axe)

• Day 5: Flamefinger's Claws (Glaive)

Players will need to visit the Diablo 4 shop to claim the gifts. It's important to note that the gifts expire on June 9, so players should make sure to pick them up before then.

Increased player activity

The anniversary announcement comes at a time when Diablo 4 has seen a significant rise in returning players, especially following the release of the Lord of Hatred expansion in late April. That expansion has sparked renewed interest in the game, giving Blizzard another opportunity to reward its loyal player base with layered content and unique rewards.
