Over the Garden Wall Gets Stop-Motion Short for 10th Anniversary

Over the Garden Wall is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a special stop-motion short titled "Back into the Unknown," produced in collaboration with Aardman, known for its iconic Wallace and Gromit animations. This two-minute short will be released on November 3, commemorating the date when the beloved Cartoon Network mini-series first aired. The original series, which comprises ten episodes, continues to captivate audiences during the fall season, with many fans revisiting it yearly. While a second season is not in the works, fans can look forward to this new content featuring the series’ protagonists, Wirt and Greg.

The upcoming stop-motion short "Back into the Unknown" is expected to bring back the whimsical charm of the original series in a new creative format. Although it lasts only two minutes, it hopes to evoke nostalgic feelings among fans and showcase unique animation styles reminiscent of Aardman’s works.
