The eagerly awaited Payday 3 patch, originally slated for release last week, has been postponed until mid-month, as announced by Starbreeze Studio.

Initially, the studio had said this update would bring over 200 enhancements to the game. Planned to roll out on October 5, the team decided to delay it to fine-tune and stabilize the patch further.

Payday 3 was released on September 21, and since launch, players have been experiencing matchmaking issues, finding it difficult or sometimes impossible to join games. Earlier this month, Starbreeze reassured fans that these matchmaking issues were almost resolved.

The game, playable on Xbox Series X & S, PlayStation 5, and PC, is part of the Game Pass lineup. Set a few years after Payday 2, the story unfolds in New York City as characters Dallas, Hoxton, Chain, and Wolf return after having abandoned their life of crime.
