EA Sports UFC 6 announced for June 2026

EA Sports' acclaimed fighting game franchise is returning this summer with UFC 6. EA has officially confirmed that UFC 6 will launch on June 19, 2026. Players can, however, get access to the game 7 days early through the Ultimate Edition, which will cost $99.99.

EA has also revealed the game's cover athletes. Alex Pereira appears on the standard edition, while Max Holloway graces the Ultimate Edition cover art. Pereira himself shared how much it means to him to be on the cover: "Representing Brazil on the cover of UFC 6 means everything to me. This is for the fans who have always believed in me," he said. "EA Sports has made my fighter as powerful as the real thing and captured my left hook brilliantly. Fans are getting the real Poatan. Chama."

New features and improvements

UFC 6 is being billed as the most realistic and authentic fighting experience yet, thanks to new gameplay and technology improvements. EA has confirmed that the game adds new ragdoll physics, meaning fighters will look, move, and fight more realistically. The franchise has received strong scores in the past, including a 9 for UFC 5, and the question is whether UFC 6 can continue that positive streak. UFC 6 will once again carry an M rating, ensuring the violence will be unrestrained. UFC 5 was the first title in the franchise to benefit from the M rating after EA made changes to the damage system, pushing the content beyond a T rating.

Alongside the improved gameplay, UFC 6 will also include new single-player modes such as Hall of Legends and The Legacy. This lets players experience the stories of legendary UFC fighters for themselves or build their own story, rising from unknown newcomer to iconic fighter.
